Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant organisation must have:

  • Made significant contributions towards a better understanding of environmental issues and possible solutions or

  • Advanced the cause of any aspect of environmental protection and conservation or

  • Mobilised local efforts towards addressing sustainable development issues or

  • Undertaken environmental activities at a grassroots level resulting in positive changes which can serve as model worthy of replication or

  • Brought environmental concerns to the attention of the public or policy makers and/or succeeded in mobilising action towards their solution

• The project, initiative, individual, company or institution must reside/operate within the State of Qatar.

• No project is too big or too small to enter the QT Green Awards

• Projects which have been in progress during 2007 or before are eligible to apply

• Projects in the post-planning, pre-set up phase or in the early stages of implementation are eligible to apply

• The project, initiative, entity must conform to the definition provided for each category in the Award Categories

• The Environmental Leadership Award is not open for submissions. It will be awarded by the QT Green Awards presenting organisations.
