Youth and Community Projects Award
The Youth and Community Projects Award honours the environmental vision and activism of schools, universities and institutions. This type of environmental protection and conservation takes many forms including organising and hosting clean up days, school ground naturalisation, implementing creative solutions to recycle paper and other utilities, tree planting, creating wildlife habitat, implementing policies and processes to reduce consumption of energy and water, fundraising and awareness building for environmental causes.

Green Workplace Award
The Green Workplace Award acknowledges the voluntary environmental awareness and activism demonstrated by corporate houses. Corporate stewardship takes many forms including implementation of policies and practices promoting recycling, minimising waste, conserving water & energy, car pooling, environmental education in the office and all other activities which signify a commitment and desire towards the preservation of the environment and natural resources.

Best Public Awareness Campaign Award
The Best Public Awareness Campaign award rewards environmental awareness campaigns carried out by companies, government offices, non-governmental bodies and advertising agencies. This could include any event that highlights an environmental issue, producing media stories that cover environmental issues in a positive way, and developing books, movies, websites and other educational innovations which contribute to a deeper understanding of conservation and environmental issues. The award will be based on the diversity and extent of the target audience.

Environmental Leadership Award
The Environmental Leadership Award honours an individual who recognises the inherent connection between nature and humankind and has made extraordinary contributions to Qatar’s green scene. The winner will have a track record of excellence in his/her contribution towards the greening of Qatar, either on his/her own or through an organisation. The award could be given for a lifetime of achievement or it could be dedicated for a single endeavour by the individual, which has inspired others and delivered results.

Green Roof and Green Building Design Award
The Green Roof and Green Building Design Award acknowledge the efforts of a company working with real estate, architecture or construction. The recipient of the award could have developed and implemented an environmental design solution, introduced methods that promote the well being of occupants or man-made improvements such as re-naturalizing parks, green technologies, developing a roof with ground for gardening, food production and horticultural therapy.

Environmental Vision in the Health Sector Award
The Environmental Vision in the Health Sector Award acknowledges hospitals – government and private – health clinics and pharmaceutical companies involved in promoting a healthier environment. The recipient of the award may be promoting earth-friendly disposal of hazardous waste, promoting healthy products, or contributing to the reduction of toxins in our water.

Environmental Vision in the Energy Sector Award
The Environmental Vision in the Energy Sector Award honours the endeavours and achievements of the Oil & Gas industry. The award recognises any environmental initiative made by companies in this sector. Initiatives worthy of the award include implementation of energy efficient equipment and systems, implementation of processes that leads to more efficient use of resources, new technologies in renewable energy production, conservation of marine life and the development of sustainable business practices.

Smart Mobility Award
The Smart Mobility Award rewards environmental activism in the automobile and airline sectors. The award includes initiatives such as the promotion of hybrid or fuel-efficient modes of transport.
