Qatar Today Green Awards

The Qatar Today Green Awards was created to awaken the eco-consciousness in every Qatari citizen and resident. The country’s first ever Environmental Awards, its ultimate aim is to increase awareness and motivate behavioural change in relation to the protection and preservation of our environment.

Born out of the unwavering belief that our Earth is a shared resource and therefore a shared responsibility, these awards will recognise and promote voluntary contributions across a broad spectrum of activities – from individual to collective efforts.

Does Qatar need a Green Awards?
After all rarely does one walk down the streets of Doha storing exhaust fumes in ones’ lungs or breathing garbage stench piled up across the streets. As true as this may be statistics tell a whole other story.

Who is eligible to participate?
Any company, institution, initiative within the parameters of the award categories is eligible to participate, provided that the relevant activity/initiative contributes directly to the greening of Qatar. For more information read the complete list of eligibility requirements.
